Privacy Policy
U.S. DMV Permit Ready is an independent educational study app developed by Pritpal Chani. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any U.S. government agency or state DMV.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your selected state, onboarding status, practice progress, scores, bookmarks, mistakes, unlocked levels, and study streak locally on your device. The developer does not receive this local study data. You can remove it by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Advertising and automatically collected data
The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Depending on your device, settings, region, and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
- app interactions, such as app launches, taps, and ad views;
- diagnostic information, such as launch performance, crashes, or device performance; and
- device or advertising identifiers.
These data may be used for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. Where required, the app requests advertising consent. Google controls the processing and retention of data collected through its services. See Google's Privacy Policy and My Ad Center.
Sharing and sale
The developer does not sell personal information. Information described above may be collected or shared by Google and its advertising partners to provide and measure ads, subject to their policies and your consent choices.
Children
This app is not directed to children under 13. It is intended for people studying for a U.S. learner permit or driver knowledge test.
Data retention and deletion
Local study data remains on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. The app does not create user accounts. Retention and deletion of information processed by Google are governed by Google's policies and controls.
Security
The app limits its own storage to local study progress. Third-party data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No method of electronic processing is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Study-content disclaimer
Driving rules and test formats vary by state and may change. Practice questions, scores, levels, and certificates are educational aids only. They are not an official exam, license, training credential, or guarantee of passing. Always verify current requirements in your state's official driver handbook and DMV website.
Changes
This policy may be updated when app features, laws, or third-party services change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
